FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I have to be baptised to attend?

Of course not! All are welcome to join us and we encourage you to come along. If you are feeling the call to be baptised or want to know more please contact us or ask a member of the church.

  • Do I have to dress smart to attend?

We tend to dress casual smart but please wear whatever is comfortable. The bible does not mention turning up to chuch in a full suit, so some jeans and a polo will be fine!

  • I believe but why do I have to go to church?

Church is built around fellowship, being the act of Christians coming together to worship and discuss the gospel. Therefore the church is the centre of that fellowship, becoming a second home to our fellow brothers and sisters.

  • I heard there was singing, do I have to sing?

Praising the lord through song is a big part of our worship but if you are not comfortable singing then I’m sure one of the fellowship can sing louder for you! A perspective that helps explain is if you attended a football match and the stands started singing the team song, would you join in?

It is through song we come together to praise as one.

  • Can I attend and sit at the back?

Absolutely! There is no seating plan to our church so whether its at the back or at the front please sit wherever!

  • What happens after the service?

After the service we come together for tea and coffee if time permits. If you are busy however and need to rush off then we hope to catch you next week!
